it’s not exactly news that news can be alarming. adultery, war, you know the story. this morning though, this dutch newspaper gave it’s readers a nice notice. it looks like an add for the service industry. you know: what are you doing tonight? care for some fun? could it be an air conditioning manufacturer recruiting new people as designerd is suggesting? you think they have a lot of girls in their workforce?
in reality it’s the dutch government. they want to thank all designated drivers in holland for not getting drunk (true! see page 38). very weird. besides, a good blow job has the same effect on me as alcohol has. (kp)

lazy, uncreative, sensational advertising should be looked down upon… but people should exercise their freedom of speech to get everyone down off their fucking high horse about sex … this ad has nothing to do with sex, so whoever desigend it just wanted to catch some eyes… but it still raises some questions about the the attitudes of people toward sexuality… and in this case i think its cool that the dutch government is behind it all …
at least the dutch government is willing to acknowlege sexuality and even play on something that is not only a taboo where i come from, but also officially illegal …(believe it or not) in many states of the USA, the land of the the free and the home of the brave, oral sex is “officially”, so “on the books”, so to say, against the law… land of the free indeed… america isn’t ready to let gay men get married, but couldn’t they at least give us some privacs and let us get our jollies?
(sidetrack, i have ADD) they say that if marijuana was legal is america, then fewer people would use it… the thrill of doing drugs is that it is illegal… hm… i wonder if we could use the same argument to get those ancient laws about man sex erased? “I promise, if its legal i will never cum again!”
enough… lets not turn “stay amazed” into a center for bashing the american government though or else i would have to spend a lot more time posting…
i think this ad is stupid, but it also represents the openness that i love so much about life in europe in a way…
bottom line, freedom of speech is beautiful, even if it also allows a lot of really shitty journalism to rear its ugly head…
