parts of this nation is getting crazy. crazy as shit. fucking out of their mind. officially, that is. i am appalled right now. rotterdam’s city council released a new protocol for the city’s people: the rotterdam code.
one of the proposed rules is that you are not allowed to speak any other language but dutch out on the streets. mind you: it’s the second rule of only seven (almost like fight club). and to top it off, this racist, violating and discriminating decree is the second one, right after the first and most important: “we respect each other and do not discriminate”.
immediately rage is running through my veins. what are the writers of this piece thinking (i could rant about that kind of magistrates now, but i know you can fill in the details)? let’s make a rule that is impossible to impose but sounds great for the xenophobe dissatisfied right wing short minded ones in our town? pretend it is a signal that we really need to integrate? away with babel, extinguish all other languages as an act against god/allah/whatever?
how dumb can you be? is my english tongue blog a violation if i was living in the port of europe? this fucking stupid piece of shit code is totally unacceptable. this act of race hatred should have been be shattered before it’s release. and by the way, to all the tourists and traders that deal with rotterdam: you are no longer welcome. if you don’t speak dutch: lazer op!
