a few days ago i spent some unkind words on hema, a big benelux-germanic-retailer. (about flushing their brand, my irl friends disagree, so i guess i am missing the point)
a day after my little rant their new project popped-up in my feedreader: doodle art, the art of slacking. this time i think they approach their target-group of school goers and high school students with a very relevant and funny idea. everyone is free to upload his (her) doodle which hema puts on the website. with title, credits and a almost museum-like note of the materials used to create the piece of art. (which doubles as a link to their school-supply webshop, clever clever) the best doodles get published in next years pocket diary. credits for this original campaign.
as a side-note: i guess we all doodle, i know i do. but the cool doodles that have been send in make my aspirations go pale… (kp)

doodle slackers.
ps: i really recommend a visit to their product landing page (try this at home with your speakers on) with a zzz score and a der lauf der dinge feel
